Remember running up Southern Cross Drive last year, heavy legs aching badly.  And past us came a few roadies cheering us on! Instead of feeling a bit better, I became soooooo jealous and angry at them for riding their bikes? WTH?

Doing it again this year ......... with my mom - very special.

Good luck to all running! 4 more sleeps ;)

If God had meant us to run he would not have invented bicycles.

Doing the long.

will be my fourth and the first one where I do not have an underlying injury of some sort.

Looking forward to it actually!

they changed to route now to go over Oukaapse weg.

Seems it is a bit tougher

I see from your graph that Constantia Nek has grown some since you went over Chappies. Global warming?

Yeah, like make sure your event isn't a few days after 6,000 hectares of the mountain has been destroyed?

If it was this close to oceans, they would have turned into a large park run ;)

obviously this route wouldn't have worked on argus weekend with the fires on silvermine. They both have the detour route from when chappies was closed as backup.Going to be missing out again, always enjoyed snapping the leaders coming past Muizies

Muizies is where?

Okay, seems I'm the only noob here, but only started running last winter and doing my first half.

Crocked my ankle (bottom tendon on Posterial tibial) on a run a while ago and only went on a gentle evaluation run this morning. It'll last (I think!) and I will see how it feels on the day. Doubt (given this) that I'll hit my target time, but... it'll be a new experience and I am AMPED! After this morning's run, the excitement is really starting to build.

Good luck for the rest of you also doing it - have a blast! And esp you lang-asems... give it horns! Respect...
