Very nice. A buddy of mine has got one that Chris Boardman removed and threw away in the TDF during a mountain stage, he was riding for GAN at that stage

the only one worth wearing   :w00t:

I'd have to say a classic La Vie Claire or Renault ELF cap is right on that list!

They seem to be making a comeback.

They never went away (well in sh*tty weather and the northern parts of europe in spring for sure). You know when hats poke out of the bottom of the helmet that it's about to get biblical!

Most of the cap wearing techniques in one shot (and a good reminder why head band never really threatened cap).

comfy under a helmet keep the sweat out of your eyes and the sun and the rain when that comes ... :whistling:

cock the peak up and you just styling

Ive always worn one first because of the guy in breaking away and it looked pro (teenage angst) then because  I had a poxy helmet with scratchy lining and now just cause they are classy and all about cycling ...

They seem hard to come by in SA though. Besides Vermarc, no one has at present. The cycling shops in CT also don't have a nice range. Olympic Cycles had a few, but no more I believe.

Sprocket and Jack up here in the big smoke has some on the rack next time you're up this end.
