Zariuss Posted July 5, 2016 Share I have one of the older outfront brackets from Garmin which I have mounted backwards as well. my new one is on the road bike! Cannot mount the new one backward
BDF Posted July 5, 2016 Share I'm very happy with the one on my road bike - puts my Garmin in a much more comfortable angle when I look down, esp. when in the drops. But I wouldn't have it on my mtb - still have the standard setup on my stem. No need to tempt Murphy with a delicate little attachment sticking out.Same here. It's great on the road bike. For "more mature" guys (I suppose like me) I also have multi-focal Oakley lenses in my glasses. That way I can read the Garmin and see what's going on up ahead! Eon du Plessis Posted July 5, 2016 Share Helped me crack my screen in a mtb fallThat happened when I had my M400 mounted directly on my handlebar as well. Don't know how much there is you can actually do about it, unfortunately.
LOOK695 Posted July 5, 2016 Share The biggest downside for me is that if you use attachments on the bar for lights, etc, the out front gets in te way big time. I have to mount my little road light upside down so it has a clear beam. Forgot about that in the first post. You need one of these Note to self, now he will want to know where I bought it from and I cannot remember the website????☺️Will need to google..... Capricorn Posted July 5, 2016 Share Polar is thoroughly annoying, in that they haven't made the V650 compatible with the vast amount out-front mounts available today. But if anyone has one to sell, or knows where i can source it, gimme a shout please.

It's not as discrete, but it'll work...
