Tom wells Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I was racing around the spruit this afternoon and taking the corner a bit quick onto the bridge below bantam drive, hit my wrist on the rail and my forerunner 910xt went flying... Immediately stopped and jumped down into the river to try find it, but it had literally dissappeared. As i was frantically searching a couple of local dogwalkers stopped to help, and after 5 minutes i had a gang of about 15 people (and 4 dogs) combing the area for my watch! We eventually found it after a concerted and coordinated effort... Whew! I know spruit people are cool (i am one of them!) but i was seriously taken aback by peoples willingness to get invoved and help me out without my even asking. Makes me feel proud to be part of this community! Thanks spruiters!
