I think I've seen that car parked in/near my Estate. If I see it again, I'll pop a print out of the laws posted earlier on her windscreen

She'll probably feel like this after she see's your printout

Why is it that some people get real aggressive when they have been caught out doing something wrong, and then try to defend the indefensible?

Get her on TV and social media.  By tomorrow morning she won't know where to hide her face.

The challenge in a confrontation like this, is when to walk away.

Motorists (actually people in most walks of life) will not admit they are wrong when their faults are pointed out. The more you push, the more aggressive they get. In this case to the threat of running the cyclist over.

At some point in all these confrontations, it is probably wise to say "You were wrong, if you don't believe me go ask a lawyer or someone who you trust. Please be more careful. Good day"

Turn your back and walk away.

By leaving them hanging not getting in the last word, they will continue to think about it, maybe even quietly admit to themselves they are wrong. The next time they pick up that phone while driving, the confrontation will come to them and maybe they will be more careful.

that long pause, where she realised she had nothing more.. you gotta love the fallback defensive mode, "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.. something incriminating!" all under the guise of leaving..

She'll wake up to it on Facebook..

I'm still laughing!

Edit: anyone found it on Facebook yet.. ?

Wonder if she updated her status to: "arguing with a cyclist"

She just summed up the mentality of 90%* of drivers on the roads.

*93% of statistics are made up on the spot

The best defense is a good offence...
