Please tell me if you can VIEW the file, and if the selection option works.

I can view the file, thanks. Selections work 100%.

Must be doing something wrong.

My dragons, Team DJuice Dragons shows 501.65 on the excel file.

On the leader board the Dragons are on 393.4.

Look at the leading team, excel 514.65, leader board 636.12.

For now, if the dropdown works then I'm happy.

I have a few problems with the SUMIF function adding up specific rider's scores for the stage. Don't worry about the total score for now, that's easy compared to the challenge of getting a lookup file online.

You have got the points for Kwaitkowski - on my REAL files. I need to see why the SUMIF function returns 47.93 points.

I'm trying to find the best way for everyone to find their own scores without having to ask me. In the past is was easy with <100 people and a basic scoring system. I could print out the scoresheet on 4-5 pages (PDF).

For 2015 the points table is ranged from A1:ACA618 (that's 466,590 cells of data), or 264 x A3 pages. Crazy!

My current problem, in order to keep the file size as low as possible, is that I have LOTS of excel files linking with each other. On Google Drive it doesn't work, or perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

If the lookup function works, then I have achieved what I wanted to. The scores from each stage will be pasted as values - I'll get that right.

If anyone has a better solution - I'm all ears.

Eish, sounds hectic.

The only idea I have is for a sponsor to agree to pay for some sort of back-end to be built for the Hub, which helps to automate everything for you, produce reports for players, etc.

This back-end needs to be built once, then used for all future comps going forward. We could use the same system for a Hub Giro league, Vuelta, Spring Classics campaign, even a MTB WC fantasy league, and so on.

So lots more opportunity for sponsors to get involved with prizes, etc. But that's a long-term solution. Unfortunately, I don't have a short-terms solution for you Mr. M :).

I have already had a number of discussions with Admin about this - that's the next project for 2016.

For now, what you see for 2015 is what we have achieved so far in getting this competition up there with the major online fantasy sites.

edit: the online submission of teams was priority number 1 for me, and Admin & Nick duly delivered. Without that system, I think I'd still be punching in team picks.

Meanwhile, live action reports that 4 riders are in the break...

After 24 kilometres of racing, Bryan Nauleau (Europcar), Serge Pauwels (MTN-Qhubeka), Jan Barta (Bora-Argon 18) and Martin Elmiger (IAM) are 3.25 ahead of the peloton still led by Trek.

Only two hubbers have picks riders in the break.

Yes can not see many people choosing these guys.

I will vote for Serge to get the most aggressive rider and possibly the KOM jersey tonight.

Bunch not really letting them go though.

After Dumoulin failed my campaign on Day 1, glad to see he is bringing me them points in the white jersey.

Clearly, my hard talk with him on Sunday evening in front of the entire team, woke up those legs. :whistling:

Can you have a word with Pinot for me please.

Seems as though if you download the .xls file it works perfectly....just the scores on the xls and on the Leaderboard are different. Feel for you on this one, not easy!

What bad bad sportsmanship by Team Sky to actually attack after the neutral zone.

I wonder how Team Sky would have felt if Chris Froome was attacked if he fell!!!!

Chris Froome is actually my selection to win the Tour so do not think I have said this because I am supporting someone else!!!!!!!!

Its actually disgraceful for a team of their calibre.

Eish!

  16:06 The race is stopped

All the riders are stopped at the bottom of the côte de Bohisseau, km 107.

  16:05 Dumoulin in the ambulance

Tom Dumoulin probably abandons the Tour de France. He's in the ambulance.

  16:03 Neutralised again

The race is neutralised for the second time at the bottom of the côte de Bohisseau.

More than one way to skin a cat...

The GOOGLE DRIVE file has been modified... and I think it's working properly now.
Open the file in Google Sheets.

@Tombeej - your team was the selected one because of the WC's Most Aggressive points not showing on the earlier version.
