FlyingScot Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I'm very keen on trying out a set for my road bike - guess I would need to go the Rotor route as I would need both rings changed. I currently run 53/39, should I stick to this setup or drop down to 52/39 or even 50/34?

1skinnyman Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Unfortunately no, as these rings have a narrow wide tooth profile designed to have excellent chain retention. In other words, the chain does not like to climb off the chainring which is ideal for 1x drivetrains. However Rotor does make 2x10 oval chainrings but I cannot vouch for them as I don't know of anyone who uses them.
