Stolen: Specialised Sworks Epic Bury Stander Edition 2014
When: 27 June 2015
Where: Cape Town, Western Cape

Stolen out of the house while occupants were home in broad daylight. My friend who owns the bike was outside talking to his garden service and the thief managed to get in and take the bike completely unnoticed. There was probably only one thief as there were two other very nice bikes left behind.

Oww, going to be hard to convince the insurance to pay out with no signs of forced entry?

If you are insured with the the right broker and insurance you should be fine. My broker sorted my claim out with no problems. Few of my mates and guys on the hub are with them now. Extremely personal service. If anyone want contact details let me know.

This bike will turn up. Its to special. Someone will find it.

My friend was contacted by someone who apparently bought the bike but realised it was stolen and was willing to sell it back for the R1800 he is paid for it.

I'm glad that the bike had been found, but this sort of behaviour only perpetuates the theft of bikes. This ole.should've kept him on the hook and involved the cops asap. Ffs man, this is the reason we get jacked. A quick 2 grand and for what!? They continue to do it more and more often. The oke pissed away his 1,800 in buying stolen goods and has no right to demand that your mate pay him that cash to return his bike to the RIGHTFUL owner.

Ffs. This sorta thing pisses me RIGHT off.
