The 2015 Tour de Worcester (Sunday 6 September) has been cancelled due to road works, but will be back in 2016. In the meantime, the PPA Office is working very hard to put on an alternative road funride on the same date. We’re waiting for event permissions and will advise soonest.

Awwhh ffs!

Well at least there is an alternative, let me guess - another variation of the road from Durbanville to Paardeberg and back

But that would still be better than nothing at all...

yay, we are getting a fun ride, 55km, in the Deep South, instead of Worcester. I am happy with that.

Yep - seems my Paardeberg guess was a bit out, seems even PPA is g&tvol of riding to Paardeberg every weekend  ^_^

I live in Paarl, trust me, I am sooo happy.

They have arranged a hill climb in your home town to improve seeing for free. At least that's very close for you. Up taal monument hammer!

More info on this?

PREVIEW: We are organising TWO seeding hill climbs which PPA members can do free of charge: Sat 29 Aug, Red Hill; Sun 27 Sept, Taalmonument Paarl. The idea is that the timing mats will be in place and open from 07h30-09h30; you just rock up wearing your timing chip and ride the hill (no chip, no time). And if you have the energy to do it more than once, you are welcome to do so. More info to follow

I train on that hill, and with my mtb gearing, mmmm, seems unfair. Lekka, thanks for the info.
