News sites say a bike knocked Sagan off. What a disapointment. He was looking strong again

Very unfortunate. . I would have also been moerig.

He def went all Hulk on them. . And worst of all is he will probably get a big fine and the moto rider won't even get a slap on the wrist..

Yes. Organizers won't like the way he hit their nice white car. He looks pretty badly ripped up. I'm still pissed that people were saying the pros are soft these days. Really!!!!,

That is going to hurt in the shower.. I vote that he withdraw from the race.. and heal up so that he can focus on worlds.

Watched it in slow motion and could only see Sagan going head over heals with the bike way ahead of him. Seems like he came off the bike while it must have carried another 5 meters or so.

His ass looked in a bad way. Jeeze, mega sensitive it would be. Can see him pulling out as well.

Anyone think its strange the way Sky is riding? They NEVER allow guys off the front unless if its part of the plan to support Froomey later. Here, guys are PUSHING off and Froome is FALLING off and they don't wait. It's as if they acknowledge that his not his strongest and they allowing some other irons to warm up.

Seems to me that Roche, etc. have been given the green light this Vuelta. Partly a 'thank you' for all the selfless work they did this year and partly because Sky and Froome feel no pressure (they've achieved their big goal for the year), and partly because they're probably not sure if Froome will have the legs to go the full distance. The lads can ride with a bit of freedom now, which must be a great place to be for the team (check out Thomas' twitter feed - constant jokes and witty banter with fans). Now, if Froome finds himself still in contention in week 3 and his legs are better then watch the attitudes change back into TDF mode.

He was poised to take that stage win while sipping on his bidon

Pity

His glute area looks eina eina

I am sure he will withdraw. He was not impressed with the officials.

He won't get to Milan anyway

Training for the Worlds

This could be a choice point yeah so he can recover
