90 Inch Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 2015 SA Track Champs - Sprint, Keiren, 1500 and Points the two riders mentioned were: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and DNF4th , 8th, 8th, DNS Fire on the other hand for the same events was:1st, 1st, 1st, 1st She also won other events that these riders did not contest. If this selection was based on an age limit, then there could be justification for Fires omission, and one of these riders is certainly the best rider after Fire, the other selection on the other hand ? Congratulations on being chosen, go and make an impact in Europe! In an ideal world all our top 20 riders should be sent. The fact that two are going is better than none. SA record broken twice by Bernette in the 200m, 2nd place in Grenchen in elite ladies sprint, 3rd place in Manchester Revolution Series elite ladies sprint and 4th in kierin, 5th in Glascow Revolution Series elite ladies sprint and 5th in kierin. Her report from the UCI invites her back for 2016 full year and promises a great future for her. Fairy tail story of girl that has not even been racing a year now...
