29 er Race wheelset recommendations

Hi all, 

 

Which race wheelset would you guys recommend for XC racing / marathon events.

Also do technical riding with some drop-offs

 

It is for a Cannondale Lefty Scalpel 2 (so it must be lefty hub convertible)

 

+- R15-20k

 

I currently think of the Mavic SLR, or convert a Roval Control to a lefty config.

 

I'am currently on ZTR Arch (2012 model) with Suntour hubs.

American Classic Carbonators, don't know about the hub though.

 

Otherwise the ZTR Valor from CWC which can be a Lefty hub.

FRM Urano XC Wheelset . 1430g a set and comes in a Lefty Version. Only R9995 a set.

Mavic SLR's. These are bulletproof! And it looks awesome as well..

All comes down to budget... Enve rims on Chris King hubs probably (or whatever the best lefty front hub is). At least you should have backup service/warranties from those brands.

Enve would be awesome if money wasn't an issue.  I can get Mavic SLR for Around R10500, and the FRM Urano mentioned above also looks like nice wheelset for the money.  What is the support like on these wheelset?  Is the FRM Unano a low maintenance wheelset (referring to the hubs) THe Mavic wheels is high maintenance in my opinion.
