Lost half my team and still cleaned up on points other than to Snails today... Still lost a spot however...

And now Sagan out. That's the ball game for me.

woo hoo. I strategically didn't pick Sagan because I really thought he would be looking at this worlds as a race he could win. was just hoping he wouldn't clean up in the first week like he did (whoops).

The usual case of winners and losers - it's going to happen no matter what the format.

Now is the opportunity to find a format that can be used for 2016 - then it can be used for all three grand tours.

What I like, from both the Tour and the Vuelta:

  • Combined category - this would encourage one to pick an all-round team;
  • Breakaway points - makes boring stages a little more interesting - especially if a picked rider is in the break.

What about your thoughts?

Ok, my Voowelta is not going so good. Still "supporting" the table down at the nether parts. one day 26th, then 27th and back to 26th! Woohoo!!! I think I will drown my sorrows in a bottle of Spain's finest pale sherry!

Hi Gerald,

I'm really enjoying the Vuelta lite comp. Its been chilled and fun.

I think breakaway points are a must, as you said it spices up boring days and dam a sub or two would be great. Unlike the tour i decided to do a 5 min pick just for fun and had to have Adam Hanson in the team, this is his 13th grand tour in a row and he will go for a stage win. Otherwise well done on a great job yet again. Now can we just see you on the podium !

Only thing about the comp for the tour was the points allocation was not really true to the race, If you look at the tour, the jerseys have an order of honour , Yellow, green, polka-dot, white then team and combative . In the comp it was white then yellow etc
