How about a bit of background first to get things started, rather that going for it right out the gate...

Tell us a bit about why you want a donation vs. going out and getting yourself a pair. Nothing nasty, just fair questions.

Go and ask Oom Chris for discount here:

And go and buy them here:

It's a pleasure.  :whistling:

Place a wanted ad. I'm sure someone in here has an old pair like those laying around and would be willing to help. Threads like these just offer a platform for poking fun. Don't take it too seriously. Congrats on your bike. Happy trails

thanks appriciate it will give it a try

Not on guys, I actually know Gav well and suggested that he ask on The Hub if someone would give him a pair of clip-less pedals because a lot of guys have spare/old ones lying around and wouldn't mind helping a fellow cyclist.., if I had a would gladly have given but I don't have spare pedals and not everyone can afford to buy what they want when they want.

If you don't have or don't want to give pedals away for free then that's cool but FFS don't hammer the guy just because he's asking if someone can help him out so that he can get on his bike and ride which is what he wants to do.

Gavin, if no one is willing to donate a pair of unused pedals then let me know and I'll lend you the bucks to buy the pedals.., pay me back whenever.

See, thing is you know the guy.... We don't. That's why a bit of background helps, gives everyone a chance to get to know Gav a bit better! No harm.
