Maybe we should all (PTA) chip in a put up an enormous sign outside Groenkloof warning that it isn't safe anymore. Danger!!! It seems like people just aren't getting the memo. I'm sure there will be the die hard people who think they are tough enough, and will "show them", and "not let the government/municipality/police" win but they they are free to sort it out with Darwin. I mean it would at least help to some extent protect the people who aren't on BikeHub who just don't know and are walking into that place blindly. I'm not saying all the other great initiatives to make it safe again must stop, its just that it isn't working right now.

Yeah nah... More evidence that putting a bigger number in front of something doesn't make it any better (if not worse).

My take on it is that classifying a person in binary terms as male or female is bound to be problematic, especially considering the full spectrum of variation across all dimensions. There are a couple of perspectives to this - biological, psychological, and the messiest of all when the previous two are combined. Is there a universally agreed upon list of criteria to be used to classify a person? Does it even really matter in the greater scheme of things?

I've never had any issues in the week.... there are usually a few people on the route, more so in the afternoons that the mornings.

I suppose this is related to the OP's topic. In any case, sucks big time to get involved with dogs if you're on the wrong side of the aggression. Not cool. What bugs me is the owners reaction when you sort the problem out...

Someone needs to put a massive sign up at Groenkloof warning everyone that they are taking a huge risk entering. It's just not worth it. Sad but true. I'd chip in for said sign. It seems like the right thing to do at this point. Far too many people are innocently entering for a day of activity not knowing the real risks.
