Help in sourcing a saddle

A mate of mine lent me a Specialized 143 saddle after I wrecked my Bontrager. I never gave his saddle back as it was a lot better than mine. This saddle is now very tired and needs replacing but I cannot find one. Does anyone know of an equivalent saddle in any brand that won't break the bank?

I think as I understand it .. he kept the saddle and lost the mate ...so ..

he only needs one

143 refers to the width not the model, looks like a phenom though....the reason your but agreed with this saddle was due to the width. Can't remember the model name they replaced the phenom with but again, just ask for the same width. No need to do the assometer, you have already found your magic zone

The Specialised store will be the place to get them - many Specialized concept stores around.

 

BTW:

 

1.) If you haven't learned already - cheap saddles aren't worth it. There are three contact points with the bike, saddles being probably the most important. I swear by Specialized.

2.) 143 refers to the width - you get from 132 to 168.  Not sure about your "beam" but if a 143 was comfortable then there are wider ones a swell - like up to 168mm
