David Marshall Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Bit late to the discussion but here is my opinion anyway. 1) Don't waste your time and money on 24 hole 29" wheels. 2) If you ignore 1) above and the Mavic hubs are built for normal J bend spokes as opposed to the Mavic wheelset straight pull spokes you can get DT Swiss 24 hole rims but they are pricey. A better option is to use a road rim with a deepish section to increase the rigidity. I would go for 1).
