Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 My wish for today is for Sagan to have team mates helping him... this is why I wanted Juraj in the TDF team..
Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 So a bunch of great riders are leaving etixx, no new signings for them?Only Allaphilipe, Kittel, Martin, Vakoc, Terpstra left..(who else worth mentioning) Edit:and BrambilaMmm.. what is Mr Lafevere up to.
Cav' Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 In other news. Confirmed but not announced.. Bertie has penned his deal with Trek. They have the budget, so I'm pleased. But, Support wise...only Mollema as a lieutenant.
Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 They have the budget, so I'm pleased. But, Support wise...only Mollema as a lieutenant. He is apparently taking 2 riders with him.. who it is I can't remember will go look for the article again. Also I am not too sure how Trek are going to manage the ambitions of both Degenkolb and Stuyven... bit odd that.. suppose time will tell, I think Stuyven is an amazing rider that is going to do great things. As for Johnny D... I don't know if he is or will every really recover from that horrible crash.
Frosty Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Time to sign off from all forms of media... Watch later when I get home. Hopefully the sparks fly. ByeLooks like I have a lot of catching up to do. I finished watching the recording at 21:45 last night. I then had to update the Fantasy Tour points before continuing with #CCMNC artwork and website updates. Who decided that July is a good time to launch online entries for a November race? The final 10-15km was like watching the GC guys attacking each other and not getting away, except much more exciting. Pity today is a repeat of yesterday, for me.

Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Oh, probably the two spanish fellows.yip here is the article http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/contador-signs-with-trek-segafredo-on-tour-de-france-rest-day/
Escapee.. Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Orica and their hillarious media ⬇️⬇️ Love all their videos. Cool to see what the guys get up to before and after a race.
Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Oh, probably the two spanish fellows.I agree about Degenkolb, but lets see he looks like such a nice guy. Ja .. but it looks like most of the German riders are nice guys Jissie I lagged the other day, the commentators where speaking about Fabulous and how he speaks 5 languages and then they spoke of Martin and that he doesn't speak much, but he speaks 54/11 very well.
'Dale Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Mmm.. what is Mr Lafevere up to.Sagan to wear blue next year I bet my favourite bibshorts on it
Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Sagan to wear blue next yearI bet my favourite bibshorts on itLast night Lafevere denied a someone's tweet about it.. lemme go find it.. also I could've lost some of it in translation. But makes sense.. if they are moving out big pay boys he could be making space for Sagan.. BUT I think Lafevere may be wanting to shift his focus that Etixx going after a TDF GC win.. they have some amazing riders to really go for it. (not this year maybe next year or 2018) So... you have your focus on Kittel and then GC... I am not sure if there is room for Sagan's ambition... yes... a team around him for the Classics, but you can't ignore the fact that he has a couple more Green jersey wins in him. PS I still like the Bora one best.. it's ambitious and I like it the feel of it[emoji23] [emoji23]

Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I'm sure the only reason you're wishing for this is the hope that this might happen no besides the amazing advertising opportunities.. I just really like the ambition that Bora have... Build a team for Sagan for the classics and the green while Majka gets a chance to grow and mature for future GC hopes.
Gen Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Let's see... I am going for Stuyven to get into the break today and we haven't seen much of Zakarin they both tried to get into the move yesterday.. Stuyven said he just couldn't climb with those riders and Zakarin however did manage to get into the move up the mountain but he lost contact in the descent, apparently still a bit shaky since his fall and with all that fog he opted not to risk it. Don't think the break will survive today... this is possibly the pure sprinters last chance till Paris.. so they wont let the break get too far up the road.
