We will see. One thing I will say bout Lm, seems like hes grown a lot the last year. Wont be much different in DDD than it is now ito climbing, but someone will help him on flat stages at least.

At least DDD has Serge Pauwels to help him.  At Lampre nobody wants to help him. You rarely see a Lampre rider with him. Which makes his performance so much more to talk about, seeing in which company he finds himself on the GC train.

Wow, TJ has lost so much time today, that the GC leaders can actually risk him going into a break.

No hey can let him go and not worry at all..

Tough day for Quintana

The profile of the final climb was his sandpit where he's become a much feared and respected.

And, he actually looks ill and not himself at full strength.

I appreciate the expectation from many fans, including myself as a super NQ fan.

A lot of this has to do with Froome Dawg declaring Nairo to be his greatest threat.

I'm confident there's a backstory to Nairo's health that is not declared by the team.

What another ride by Froome Dawg.

What impressive performances by Porte, omw young riders Yates and ???????? Luigi Meintjies

Majka - beast beast ????

It actually almost feels like a cycling version of Freaky Friday. Only both TvG and RP have a history of bleeding time. RP has by his own standards been truly exceptional. Tomorrow's ITT is going to be an important day if he is to realistically threaten for a podium place.

I suspect we might also find that Danny T and Natneal Berhane might get tasked to help Main Cheese along with Pauwels. It would be great if he could be back with DiData!

"It was a good day. I really want to be on the podium, so these are the moves you have to pull. I felt strong today, and I'm happy with how it all went..."

If I remember correctly he said it will take 10 years before other SA riders will be at that level. He was not far off in the end...We have only in the last 2 or 3 years really had guys up there. He was on his own up there for a very long time. But yes most did not like him because of things like that.

If I remember correctly he said minimum 10.  But we also had bad luck among others the little cliffhanger guy (his name fails me now but we mentioned the other day.  The oak who went over the edge after climbing like mountain goat).
