Sigma Rox 10 Altitude

Hey Barry

I also have a Sigma Rox 10 and have struggled with the altitude. The problem is that it doesn't have an auto-calibration when you turn it on so you need to manually adjust the altitude each time you want to ride.

What I have started doing is using this website to check my starting altitude before a ride and then just putting it manually into the device before each ride. Alternatively, you can download an app onto your phone that works based on GPS/Barometric pressure, and grab a quick reading of your altitude, then put it in.

If you're asking how to set the altitude each and every time, here's how:

Turn on the device> Go into training>Click the two top buttons(one on each side) at the same time and then input your altitude.

A handy hint is if you push the two bottom side buttons, the screen light comes on.

If you manage to find any other ways to do it, please let me know!

Cheers,

Luke

I also have a Sigma Rox 10. There is a way that you can preconfigure a few locations with set altitudes. Then whenever you visit those locations in a ride, it calibrates its altitude.

Examples would be the parking places where you start your rides from.

I must just quick look up how to do that again.

Can the ROX 10 download pre planned routes like for Berg and Bush?

What is the battery life like... we're going to need a minimum or 8hrs... :(

Good day All

Been using  a Rox 10 for some years now without any hick-ups until about 2 weeks ago.  It "inverts" the % gradient readings.  Riding up an incline which I know is between 12 & 14% the unit gives me a reading of -12%.  On level surfaces I'll get random readings from level to -6% etc ...

Hardware or firmware issue?  Possible solution?

Thank you

Yep, it can. Battery life is excellent - 8 hours won't be an issue at all.
