NSBB, what headset did you use? If memory recalls, the Rush has Cannondale's 1.5" headtube.

That is correct so one needs a 1.5 - 1 1/8 headset .... cause I'm a cheapskate I had a normal Cannondale one floating around from a previous alu Flash build (1.56 1-1/8) I got it machined down that bit

The one you thinking of WAS cool, she was "purchased" by an affirmative shopper, luckily I bought a second frame, it's also a split frame just needs some bling and some bogus love and most importantly she needs my ass doing TITS

Oh jaaaa. Bastard dogs got it and the cops tried to ransom it if my memory serves me correctly.

So did a quick shakedown ride yesterday .... the setup was 100%, keeping in mind I just copied the seat height, setback and reach that I have on my Flash which works for me!

Nothing broke and it doesn't 'crab' or anything so the repair, albeit early days, has been successful

Used a cassette out of my spares box that was not good (jumped on 2 gears) and the suspension setup was a bit hard and 'harsh' (perhaps because I'm still using the same settings as when I weighed >25kg's more)

Fortunately I had another cassette (benefit of having a 'few' bikes and changing stuff every now and then   ) - it's 1*10 and I'm using a long cage RD with no clutch, had no chain drops but it is rather noisy so I just added a chainstay protector

Have reduced the fork and shock pressure, slowed the rebound a bit on the fork and made the 'motion control' a bit more active on the rear shock. Will go ride at about 10:30 this morning and check it out, taking a shock pump with   - and my glasses so I can actually read the pump and see which way I am turning the damn 'dials'  :whistling:

So this will be my last post here as it is now at the ride and forget part, everything works and was well worth taking an hour at Thaba this morning to play around with the suspension. Feels way better!

Must be 'about the bike'

New White House 'chicken run' at Thaba, avoids the little rock drop off but still loads of fun

The narrowish bridge has been replaced as well, I'm sure the 24hr riders will be chuffed
