I have a couple pairs of ranger pants...the cycle pants part of the shorts comes loose at the stitching if you machine wash , so hand washing recommended, and the button ( metal press stud contraption) also falls apart very easily as it separates from each other...its a design flaw in my opinion, and it looks on the pic that they might have changed it... otherwise i love the pants, its light and comfortable.

The Trek really is a nice bike, but it's just too expensive for what you get in components. Unless the seller can come down by about 15 to 20k Trek is going to have a very hard time breaking through SA's Giant and Specialized saturated market.

(oh and with the recent change in local distributor for Trek I'd like to hear more about how the lifetime warranty will be implemented with certainty in the future. Right now Trek's a bit of a gamble for me to buy.)

I have 6 pairs that I use to ride with, surprise, and all the time outside of the office. No problems at all with "build quality"...even post cruise holiday involving ridiculous amounts of food and drink and an inch or two on the waste line.

They are great pant!

Admin , could you give us a price on the casco?

Better late than never, some might say:

Entry level: Speedster - R3,400
Mid range: speed Aero - R4,500
Speed Aero RS - R5,999 (the model in the article above).
