What brand and model long fingered glove would you guys propose? Currently have a pair GripGrab. Year and a half later it is starting to go. At around 600 a pop, bit pricey. What quality is available at R300-400 (or less)?

Must have decent snot wipe also...... [emoji23]

I use Fox Pawtectors.  They were my MX/enduro gloves but I've  been using them for MTB for three winter seasons now and they're still going strong.

I got a pair of Dekine ventilator full finger at a shop out in boksburg for 60 bucks, they have bins with plenty for sale, just a hassle to find a size as they mix all women's, kiddies etc in the bins. had some issues with stitching failing in some areas but for the price you cant complain, get a few to swop around look and feel for the price of one pair elsewhere.

jeez I have no idea what its called, just happen to find them. I think it is in value centre or something like that, it is a clothing factory shop near or opposite the K59 mall there.

I've got two pairs.  My specialized ones have been going strong for a few years and are great, but found they didn't have enough padding when hitting trees and / or getting jumps wrong.

Got a pair of Oakley MX gloves at the Oakley sale and they are now my choice when tackling the more technical routes.  Little bit hotter than the other gloves, but have loads of grip and protection.

I missed this when I posted...I think it must be the Billabong shop at The Palms.
