I'm probably gonna be heading to the park while im on leave and was thinking of doing some trails there.

Anyone done these trails before? How would you rate them in terms of difficulty? I'm still pretty much a noob.

The other thing is how far is the trails from about Churchaven side. My family will probably be chilling on the beach while I go for a ride. Can I cycle from Churchaven to the trails or should i just drive>

Trails are not that challenging we usually just  cycle from  the church-haven side on the sand road around to the other side ...our short ride is to Abramskraal bird hide there and back 25 ks some soft sand...and we spend some time at the hide...we also go across to the Bird hide on the side of the Geelbek restaurant

The tar  road all around the lagoon and back is a super ride on the road bike. Traffic is slow and it is safer than most other routes. The views are great and occasionally you spot wildlife. If the southeaster blows, it can be a serious workout.
