Doing the full. Did not do any swimming over festive season besides playing in the swimming pool. Did some MTB and not enought running. Looking forward to it. Just hope the weather is nice.

There is water in the dam.

Did some riding around the dam, loads of glass and debris around. Sliced my tyre open on a discard SAB product that I could see on the route. I only did a small portion of the actual route.

They have a bit of work to do before the race, if they are using a similar route to last year

Looks like weather will be nice and cool. 25 and overcast. Not to much rain during the week. Hopefully no mud. Wonder if it will be a wetsuit swim

Can't imagine it being cold enough for a wetsuit swim. But you never know, the temp doesnt have to be too cold to allow wetsuits

I'm in for the Lite - the 12km trail run of the full scares me.

Anyone else in?

In for the full. Did it 2 or 3 years ago and I still have nightmares about some of the hills on the run

Many thanks to the person who picked up my waterbottle toolbox during the mtb leg and handed in. You saved me a couple 100 rands.

The mtb was thought and the run was brutal. Shaved 45 min of my previous time. Happy with myself. Next year sub 4.

Gotta say, I loved this race.

Right mix of being tough but manageable.

Very impressed with the organisation - everything ran smoothly, water points were decent.

Finish atmosphere was great, and loved the recovery zone.

Makes me wonder why I pay more for the Trinity Gold series at Germiston...

Awesome event! We did the full relay event on Saturday and I did the MTB portion which I thought was pretty tough.

Then did the full lite event yesterday and was my first Triathlon, happy to say i really enjoyed it and was great event. My legs are killing me but was a great feeling to finish on 2:06 for my first time.

Well done to the organizers on helping out us newbies to get into this tough sport.

That swim is a different experience, never have i swam with so many people around and hitting each other. I saw one guy with a blood nose...Hectic!

Yip great race again.

I had forgotten how tough the run course is and it definitely humbled me once again.

Well organised, only thing I'd change is their sponsorship with Windhoek Light means there werent any ladies drinks (apart from Spirits and Mix)....but you can't win everything.

Very likely I'll be back again next year.
