Racing Ralphs are awesome, lite'ish, good grip but durability isn't good. they get eaten up if used on tar! Recently moved to an Ikon on the rear, coz well... CWC specials...

Also got Ikons on special at CWC and so far so good. Stuck one on the rear and I've done around 2,000km and cant complain. Still got a Spez Ground Control on front.

Yeah, I have Ikons on front and back now 2.2. Was running them at 1.7bar over the weekend and wasnt too impressed with the front grip.

Hence this thread, what else is lighter or as light, but has better traction :)

Lighter = less grip or not?

And grip/traction for you and me is always different i.e. a subjective feeling.

Tyre pressure also play a big role! I still think too many ride with too high pressures.

Also, what type of riding are you doing? and with what aim (enjoyment or competitive)?

Naturally if you say light....i assume you're racing?
