Tubeless slicks?

My wife rides a Giant Anthem with tubeless conversion. We have entered a few toad races and as she gets fitter is looking for the enhanced rolling resistance that you get with slicks.

Question is can a slick tyre run efficiently on a tubeless conversion. If so, what slick tyre do you recommend? Have you had any issues with the setup?

Schwalbe One (or Pro One if you can/want to spend more) is an excellent tubeless tyre. No issues, no punctures since I converted. Rim choice might be an issue. Not all rims - even with rim tape - will seal nicely. If that is the case with your wife's wheels, go for a wheel set that's guaranteed to work, like American Classic.

I think you are talking about road tyres, OP is referring to slicks to go on MTB rims.

If it is a 29er, any road tyre will work with a tube (just remove the valve) or fit a road tubeless one.

29 and 700c are interchangeable.
