Its not excatly "Krugersdorp."

The mall can be accessed straight off the N14, it takes about 15mins from CL4 ways to get their by car.

Its not great though and I agree that its not great and plans need to be made.

Are any of the ASG event number colections at CycleLab?

The Satellite Classic was....I know because I went on Friday to get mine only to realise number collection was on at CL on Thursday and Friday was Bruce Reyenke Cycles in PTA......I never raced.

Just been to collection. As you enter the mall there is a sign indicating registration which is upstairs above the food court. Manage to get a reseeding from GL to DL

Do you like getting dropped? :P

Didn't on the fast one in CL!! [emoji12] ASG seeding system is screwed. When I asked to check my seeding they said am not on the system and that have not done any ASG races... so told the lady that did B&D, Emperors and Satellite last year so how could I not be on their system as they are all ASG races. Eventually had to ask the racetec guy next to her to confirm and to provide the seeding index... great system ASG are trying to implement for their own races!

Well sooner or later, somebody was going to tell the incumbents that enough is enough and do their own thing. Never charge a client so much that it start making economical sense for them to build their own solution.....

Apart from the system doesn't work... screwed up seeding emails, importing MTB into Road seedings and system not updating to include ASG races done let alone any other races...

What was concerning is that when I was speaking to the racetec guy, I asked why ASG seeding was different and he said they are a different timing company... so does that mean in the near future once they have sorted out the bugs on the ASG seeding system, will are going to be asked to buy an ASG timing chip if we want to do ASG races???

I would bet on it.

It makes sense for them too. Racetec has a monopoly on timing, and charge as all people with monopolies do, too much. Look at the flak ASG took for not using Racetec at Sondela last year. So if they can do it cheaper, and that means we get electronic timing at smaller races, then we do score.

I dont mind buying an ASG chip or board, just like SAS, Championchip etc.... thats not the problem. Whats is R100 once off, I probably ate that in biltong today.

The problem is that we need a central database where all the results are kept so that we can have a true seeding database.

If all these guys sent their data to one databse for seeding, it would be great. Its only a matter of time before somebody fills that gap... this is something CSA should look at.

ASG - Altyd so gou (met verskonings) They have a excuse for everything.  A lot of things going wrong when they organize a race, but yet, their prices keep going up.

So it looks like the best option is to enter the morning of the race and get seeded to your bunch of choice?

Does anybody know where to go and pick up the race numbers. In one of the emails that ASG sent out, it said Cradlestone mall. Any idea where in the mall?

Going to do a 1.5 hour drive just to get a number. Great.

I posted earlier, is upstairs above the food court.  Go in the main gate, turn left, the entrance direct in front of you takes you to the food court, there are signs in the car park and on the entrance window
