Cops couldn't prove who was driving the car as it was a rental. According to law apparently they could only fine the person who signed for the car for not supplying details of the driver.

a 2015/16 XC90 its got collision avoidance. If the driver had it turned off then its a deliberate hit and run.

It seemed pretty deliberate regardless.
