Best advice for this race? Don't do it unless ASG uses Racetec.

 

Eish, unless I've missed confirmation, do you mean I have that to budget for too?! :blush:

So, we are now considering this event. 

 

I heard racetec are timing it. 

 

What are the additional costs like once landed in JHB? From those that have done it before.

 

Like, what kind of accommodation is nearby etc.

How many guys are you planning on sending up, and do you want to do the Tour or the Classique?

Racetec normally time it. The riding is superb in that part of the country, i think tougher than TOGH, as in TOGH at least the roads are flatish between the passes. Lots of accommodation options in nelspruit or white river. From Jhb, you will obviously need to get to nelspruit plus food costs etc? What other info you looking for? It might be worth checking how much more direct flight to nelspruit is than jhb, as could possibly be better for you.
