Well done to the good samaritan.

Reading your injury write up and yet no head injury due to helmet use, I don't understand people who still advocate that they are not necessary.

Hope you are healing up.

have to agree. Will never go for a rde without one again.

Some potential helpful info - if you've still got your original proof of purchase, Bell will give you 70% off of the value of a new helmet. Bargain.

do I just takr helmet and receipt back to lbs?

Came down helshoogte chasing guys ahead of me. Geared down for more speed and chain slipped. All that force had to go somewhere, lost control and went down. Head and shoulder was point of impact.

Heal up soon champ, Good Luck with rehab, make sure you do alotta cardio to lose weight because you're now heavier than before with all that steel in you...

Came down helshoogte chasing guys ahead of me. Geared down for more speed and chain slipped. All that force had to go somewhere, lost control and went down. Head and shoulder was point of impact.

Does it matter how old the helmet is?

 

 

Dunno. Mine was only one year old. They replaced it no questions.

Check on their website if there is any time limit.

haha. Well done. Bike is okay. Front wheel slightly bent. Bar tape gone, and sti clamp was loose enough so that just turned in. Very minor scratches. Hart rate monitor and cycle computer is 100% intact. Saddle torn to bits on the side....
