Did the race, and now I know why it was so expensive. They do not expect any one to return next year. Just way to difficult and technical for the average rider. So its a one time sell.

I was also very disappointed in the facilities. At this price, I will expect much better. There wasn't even a waterpoint.

Note to self, will never do an unsponsored event again

So sorry to hear bud. For R500 bucks there was no way I was gonna enter. More or less how many people did the race?

also decided to do it, once and not again. Yes the views were amazing but very technical.

If you a racing snake wanting some excitement and wide variety of terrain this is your race.

Agree on the water point, personally being right at the back when I got to the one they already packed up and left.

I did the 40km (R350). At the start line we were not very many. Results show 43.

And I didn't even see a packed up water point.

Compared to Darling the other day, where I crashed and were helped so very well, I am glad nothing happened here. There where no medical services and almost no extraction points. And with basically just single track, not a race that can or should host many people
