LukePurdon Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Hi Guys, I have moved up from KZN to JHB and in need of help finding a quality LBS to go to for bike parts and kit. I am mainly a trail rider (MTB obviously) and need a store than stocks trail/enduro gear and parts. I live in Sandton central (technically Morningside), just off Grayston, 100 meters from Investec building. Can anyone suggest a good local LBS to go to? I don't mind traveling a little way (15-20min) to a quality store as long as it has everything I need. OFF TOPIC: Also looking for someone/group to show me around the local riding spots (spruit, PWC bike bark and any others that may be of interest). Thank in advance for the help and advice. Luke

If you want to join me, I plan on hitting the spruit today for a gentle recovery ride after having the flu. I live in parktown north so normally just ride from home. Sean at the trailhead (on the Spruit) or Mike at his eponymously named shop in Greenside are where those that know go. You will find the trailhead by PM-ing Robodog right here on the Hub on Mikes at 011-888-8868.

Christofison Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Swiss Cycles in Rosebank, 1 Jellicoe Ave. They're super helpful and Ex. KZN as well. Not dedicated only to trail/enduro but they do stock a good variety of stuff.
