NotSoBigBen Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 So to keep the motivation going into winter was looking at a goal of doing something like an Audax or one of those '250k' in 24Hr (like Cullinan to Tonteldoos for example) or something like that around May or June .... any ideas? Don't want to have to rely too much on others for logistics etc. if possible?

Make sure you get your ticket signed at the checkpoints and don't exceed 30km/h. (and find a big guy to sit behind on the way back from the Truck Stop, always seems to be into the wind)

Different strokes etc. I am looking for long distance rides where I can control my heart rate. The dust roads north-west of Magaliesburg gets a bit boring after a while. Thought this might make a nice change but I don't have a road bike.
