That is a super sexy bike!

What rims are those, I dig the detail on the brake line :thumbup:

The rims are standard. Stainless steel with some pattern on the sides. The don't stop very well but the sure look pretty :)

Wow!!! Well done. Looks awesome.

What was the total budget at the end?

The original bike was R1800. The brooks saddle cost more than that. Spray job on the frame about R700, drive set and shifters about R1000 from mean machine, handle bars, levers and table from whippet about R1500.

 

The real investment was time. The hand stitching on the leather was 5 hours alone and had to be repeated because of the *** job I did the first time.

 

At my hourly rate it's worth more than a Dogma :)

A brilliant job, she looks fantastic.

 

And that's the real reason why I seldom sell anything I restore. 

Because I've invested so much time and love into it!

Even my humble Peugeot, like yours, is worth more than a Dogma.
