Hatchin a new build project.

I want to build a 27,5+ hardtail. I have a 29er frame and fork (Rock Shox Recon) and was wondering if a 27,5 + wheel with a 3.0 tyre would fit in.

Its a Momsen AL 129 Frame.

Any experience.

Also any ideas on which 27,5+ rims to use ?

Scraper is the one I'd go for. But just be aware that lateral clearance may be an issue if you go above 2.8

thanks Myles - oh great oracle and source of endless wisdom on insanely arcane topics....

That's what I do. I drink, and I know things.

I drink 29er fork oil, with n dash of stans, (call it a SpringFrokkie), while having long undisputed conversions of 3x10 to 1x11 groupslets, about 29" vs 20whateva and ...pushbikes, chain smoking, lubing the whereabouts of trains vs commuting,...now I'm there, and tomorrow I'm back,..STILL NOWHERE near Myles's wisdom!..#btw#keepit#simple#I'mdof#mostofthetime????
