I lost a bet and now need to compete and complete back to back Hollard Juma and Jura in two weeks time! (don't ask how or why).

I am not prepared to buy a bike but do have 7 nights at Simola Hotel in Knysna to trade in exchange. it is a mountain biker's paradise for those who haven't been there. The accommodation is plush (5 star, 2 bedroom self catering villas) and includes breakfast daily. Its worth R23k.

I don't need or want the best bike around (has to be a mountain bike though) - just decent enough hardware to get me safely across the finish-line.

Anyone want to throw a dog a bone?

Now this is going to be an interesting thread! I'm quite keen to see the banter/trade!

What size are you?

just shy of 6 foot, +- 75kg of pure unadulterated muscle. (and now you know why i lose stupid bets...)

When is the accommodation for ?

anytime you want except peak season but their peak is rather short over Dec for instance it starts +- 22 Dec through to about 4/5 Jan

I have a mountain bike with "blokkie brakes" for you[emoji14]

What kinda mtb you looking for? I have a cannondale Sl2 26 alu inch large deore/slx ....ill even through in some semi road slicks...got a few scratches but still runs like a dream

I am 6 foot so you will fit on my Cannondale Carbon Flash, Sram 1 x 11.

Will happily lend it to you for the event in exchange for the accommodation :)

cheeky offer and probably worth a try but i can rent a bike for less than that and still enjoy my holiday. sounds like a great bike though

Will you fit on a medium ?

i can ride a bike but know nothing about the sizes etc. which is what got me in this mess to start with. i guess a medium will work
