maybe, if you are a software developer

I would also like some new kit....I hate programming, but might be able to be a tea lady for a week ...free the week from the 23rd-27th May (can I take leave the 26th and 27th though?)  :D  :P

Cuore - Brilliant kit if you go Silver or Gold range. Good prices and great service. Raoul De Jongh is the custom kit agent.

World tour heritage and great extras included in the process (each kit can have different length sleeves and leg length on the bibs which is a nice touch if one rider want's to work on their tan bit more!)

Apparently they are the manufacturing house for the Rapha kit using Rapha's materials.

This is precisely why I am asking, I want the folk I give the kit to, to keep on wanting to ride in it for a long time.

We've got massive range at Anatomic - from really entry level cheapies (which sometimes don't do our brand many favours) to higher end stuff that will comfortably get you through a Cape Epic of joBerg2c

We're not some fancy European name brand, but you will not beat our Tycoon lycra for longevity and shaping, our Quadrotto, Ergonomic and Platinum Gel paddings are absolutely top drawer and we've got a range of patterns to suite any build. Yes, we import the tech stuff - so you get the best of whats out there, but we're South African, so if you're a large, you'll wear a large, not a 3XL Italian shirt you hope will fit you. And best of all, the kit is made here, you support local industry, keep someone in a job and save quite a bit as there isn't 40% import duty on your kit  ;)

You want good kit at a good price, chat with Elton for Gauteng: 082 336 5833

My personal recommendation, get the Ergonomic bib in Tycoon lycra and for the shirt get a full zip standard cut with Pro Sleeves in Radstof material - you can't go wrong

I have heard good things about BioRacer from some of my 'pro cycling friends' (who spend hours on their saddles). Wish I could have sourced some for myself by now - just not getting the time to go stop at Ballistic Bike.

The bioracer kit is nice - BUT - the local supplier is a nightmare.....

The international guys are great and very accomodating.

Ftech is the nicest quality shirt that I have - it feels so good to wear.  I just wish it wasn't so orange

You must have some really poor quality kit then. My Vitality ftech kit is no better than the Craft tops I got at w2w. The bibs are ok at best. I'm not taking fit here cos we all different in that department. But the stitching and printing as the same as everyone else. Nothing special.

Paragon has a new brand called gsg. Looks promising but they were not able to cater for my needs.

Other brands

Panda

How's it

I avoid at all costs. Just not up to date with current ideas. Really heavy on the inking so tops don't breathe well

Kotton Kandy can get custom kit including all artwork done and doesn't require large order quantities to become reasonable. Fits nicely too.

Speak to Stacey and she can get you some pricing, even if you just want to compare.

I strongly reckon you just get custom tops, that match any black shorts. Shorts are quite a personal item.

I got some free kit for Sani last year but the shorts were so uncomfortable it felt like someone was juggling my bits. Some guys rode the whole thing in them and didn't have anything bad to say about them.

Pearl Izumi and Vermarc will always be my go-to shorts.

Maybe you just got a dud one?

The material is a lot softer than most others and it just feels like more of a quality item.

Maybe I just don't have enough high end kit.  Don't worry, sliktrik is going to be putting that right soon

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but on the bold bit excuse me if I call bull...

We use the highest quality sublimation ink available internationally - the colour lasts forever, doesn't fade, and definitely doesn't change the properties of the fabric in the slightest - and yes, all our fabrics are moisture management treated.
