I bought the new Scott 910 and must admit that I'm very impressed with it. Handles everything you through at it very well. I like the 3 settings they have on the suspension and the single lever to lock out both front and rear suspension.

I can't comment on the Silverback as I have not tested one, but I don't think you can go wrong with any one of the two.

How good is SIlverback's backup and warranty?

I had a 2013 Silverback Vida 1. Last week I noticed a small hairline crack at the seat tube. I went to my LBS and they took a few pics. 4 Work days later I got a call from them to bring my old bike so that they can rebuilt the new frame. Excellent after sales.

I'd pick the Silverback.

It has a better suspension design, does not have the Scott remote lockout lever.

If it was between hardtails, I would choose the Scott though.

What do you have against the Scott remote lockout lever?

Just curious.

I'm on a Spark, really enjoy having the option of being able to set the suspension on the fly when the terrain gets technical.

Good value, top components, light, rides well and looks the business too...

Never ridden a Sesta though, so can't merit any advice on that front.

I want to be able to lock my shocks independently.

I climb a lot of hills with the rear locked and the front open or in the middle. Or on gravel roads I ride with the back on middle and the front open.

The Scott lockout lever is fiddly, a hassle when dirty, and lastly all those cables look terrible.

Ja the amount of cables does make the setup very cluttered.

Luckily I have not had any issues with the lever.
