Also imo pressfit BB's tend to last not as long as their threaded equivalent. Whether that is because its easier to maintain i can't really say.

You can make it go away for a while, but it always comes back. Always.

A little unsure of what the reality of this, my bike has a pf30 shell but I have to run an adapter and then I have a shimano bb. Will we see the benefit when the new bikes come out? Or is it something that can solve problems now? also a noob...

BDF Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Bugger to get that accurate..... and square - it's a really big tap....I guess you would need to have/make some sort of a jig that you could attach to the BB somehow. Would be really be a bugger to scrap a frame because of a slightly out of square tap!
