Waahaaaa.  Me too.

I thought it was half and half for a 2-man team...oh no, it isn't.

I have to ride Stages 1,2,3 & 6 = 221kms / 2940m.

We should all meet up for a beer before hand. Looking forward to meeting some hubbers

Sias - I would love to have that route profile as well

May be a silly question, but is a dual-suss recommended for stage 1, 4 and 6?

I'm the only oke in our 4 man team with a HT and I drew stage 4. Slight possibility of having to do stage 5

GEt some socks and a buff = ZAR300.

Good idea!

The 'size 3/M' top I got last year is so small I can't even get my arm into the sleeve... Was not close to the sizing info provided. Bib was perfect though

I suppose you could get by with slightly lower pressures on stage 4. The general feeling last year was not very positive ito corrugations - even my daughter left a few swear words when she came in. She never swears... For 1 and 6 a hardtail is fine.

Would also like that, if you don't mind.

Will PM my e-mail address

What is a typical training week looking like for you guys?

Even though I'm riding a lot more than before, it still feels like I'm not doing enough

I was a 30km at a push kind of rider.

I've started pushing myself just a little bit at a time and now do 70-80s for weekend rides. Doing my first 100 this weekend.

I'm doing a 4 man though, so don't listen to me

I do between 42 and 52km a day, depending on which road I take on the commute and on weekends I do between 100 and 150km every day on Saturday and Sunday - it takes about 4-6 hours.

I am doing a 3 week on/1 week off cycle. The weeks get progressively harder so the third week will be the hardest week with more intervals and higher mileage/hours on the weekends.

I managed to get in a good base over the last 3 weeks so after this rest week I'm taking it up a notch...

Thanx Sias

Your training looks similar to my plan - commute 40 -60k per day, but haven't been able to get to long enough rides on the weekends.

Want to try and get up to a long (150-180k) ride by the 1st weekend of September.
