khm4252 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I saw the videos of the Sram eTap and it looks amazing. Quite frankly it seems far better than the Shimano Di2. The Sram electronic system does not come with a cassette or crank from what I can see online. Can I use my current Shimano Ultegra crank, cassette and chain and upgrade later? It just seems to come with Shift/Brake Levers, Front/Rear Derailleurs and Batteries, Charger, USB Stick and Quick Start Guide

When I say illegal, highly doubt CSA or the police will arrest you, but do you want brand new kit is version 1 and not supported by the suppliers. Also if you import it and Customs gets hold of it and its not ICASA approved you can kiss it goodbye. A friend imported a gen 1 ipad and it was not ICASA approved as was a few months early, no ICASA certificate, customs held on to it until was ICASA approved.
