Isopropyl alcohol

Hi Folks,

Often when I youtube something I'm fixing for the first time on my bike, there video or instructions suggest cleaning the relevant component with isopropyl alcohol. Where can I get some? OK probably my LBS, but more specifically, what brand should I look out for? I'm pretty sure most brands that sell it wont call it "Isopropyl alcohol" on can.

The last time I bought a bottle I got it from a chemist, with a smile and an instruction not to drink it .

The normal brake & parts cleaner which you can buy from your local Midas store is more than sufficient, you will find that isopropyl alcohol.is the solvent used in this product

Dischem have it, it is called rubbing alcohol.

While you at it, get some PVC piping, glue, sparking device and some disposable potatoes. Makes for a sweet little boom-stick.

Disposable potatoes... lol. Along with some disposable windows at your neighbour's house.
