Easiest way is to right click on the photo in windows, select email, then you will have a choice to resize the photo, pick a small size, outlook or whatever will create an email, then save the reduced photo (which will be attached to your email) to your desktop. then delete the email.

Start -> Run -> MSPAINT -> Enter.

 

Load the photo in. At the top, Image -> Stretch/Skew. Resize to required size and save it.

A image resizer can be downloaded from the microsoft website (Microsoft power toys for windows - see link below) for nixuntgratis, then once you downloaded the image resizer all you do is:

> right click on the photo

> select "resize pictures"

> select the desired picture size from 3 options available or manualy set the size - usually medium or small works just fine for downloading onto the hub.

I also use MS Paint. I have found (most of the times) that if I open it in paint and then use "save as" it saves a smaller file than original. That is without resizing. I only resize if it's too large to view, but use the "save as" if it's the file size that's too large

tried the paint thing and didn't work - image resizer did the trick.
