Bora-Argon, FDJ and Lotto-Jumbo would also have had just one rider left, while Giant-Alpecin, Dimension Data and Cofidis would have had just two. They could have a delayed start for all the riders that missed the cut off..

Also the kids don't have much on this afternoon..so ideally this would again be a good day to entertain me[emoji6]

Maybe we'll see a move from Orica today, they are sitting comfy with 2 riders to be watched by the other GC guys. Although this is the Vuelta and anything goes

Another team that's going to want to protect or improve their GC guys positions is Cannondale Drapac. Talansky and Formolo are both in the top ten and I am sure both want to make an impression on the GC race. So maybe an OBE and CD collaboration? Whatever happens it'll wind up being entertaining! Bonus Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 Bertie certainly has everything to attack for - but I suspect the other teams would ride themselves into the ground rather than let him repeat the sort of thing we saw on Crazy-Sunday. I rode up one of the valleys into the mountains last evening and in my head I was hanging on the back of that first breakaway group from Sunday - teeth clenched, full gas . . . ;-) Of course in real life I was plodding along the road . . . . . . :-)
