The heat was brutal with guys just stopping along the way from exhaustion. Tough race. Wow.

And ... the feeding station had crashes on practically every lap. Still can't believe that's the best they could come up with. For one, the area was so small that all the soigneurs were on top of each other.

 

Even saw one in the ladies event (throwing) the bottle at the rider!!!

Also saw the bottle throwing tactic. Don't think they tried that again. Even the commentator said "I am not sure that's the best way to get a bottle to the rider"

Hey this live on board camera is cool.. an Egyptian rider had a flat and she happens to have a camera on board and we got to see the whole change of wheel by the Shimano neutral car lol
