Shebeen Posted October 12, 2016 Share I refuse to follow anything sport related that is in the bogus sham nation of Qatar. I wonder who got paid off to shift the calendar and allow this WC to happen in this sandpit? Just to show how little sporting decisions went into this, let's look at Qatar the cycling nation. It doesn't exist - not even on the Asian tour - http://www.uci.ch/road/ranking/ do they have a single cyclist. They couldn't even try buy some athletes like they do for swimming/athletics. and let's not forget the fun of holding a 257km race in an area the size of gauteng but then keeping the whole thing in sandton so whoever built his stupid skyscraper can get a stiffy every time they go past it.. /rant overps. I'm however looking forward to the massive sprint finish come sunday, got to go for the aussies in the heat i guess?!

Gen Posted October 12, 2016 Share I don't know if think the desert has it's own beauty.. they go to some beautiful places during the Tour of Qatar.. my beef with cycling events in the middle east is there are almost no supporters next to the road.. (for obvious reasons.. the heat). these guys are tough as nails, they deserve some support man.
