Pumpin.

My pump did not play along today... which lead to a tussle... and he lost. Now I need a new pump. Or do I?

Option A is getting a new MTB pump. Preferably smallish, but big enough for 29"@2.25. I'm mostly liking the idea of having a top-up option without wasting a CO2 cartridge. And reliable.

Option B is just using cartridges. But using a full cartridge for that 0.1 bar?!

Option C is a ride-buddy that carries both.

What to do?

On a completely unrelated note. Have this fietspomp for sale. usual scuff marks, but basically new. Leaks some air, but still works 100%. Asking R400. Will throw in free tube.

I have one of these Ryder pumps mounted on each of my bikes. They work well and are cheap enough to toss away and get another if it gives problems. They go for about R60 at my Lbs. 94126d40a649d1338d3d441ea8e9ee56.jpg

lol, quality post that.

I keep a track pump in the boot of my car, check pressure before ride and go.

If anything goes wrong it will be completely flat so I bomb it on the trail/road.
