Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Where can I find this magical pair? Evobikes only have Magic Mary listed I'd point you towards either bike-discount.de or bike-components.de or probikeshop.com Always beating CRC.
CdT85 Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Nice! Seems like a lekker project! Maybe look at importing some rubber. There is still a lot of Maxxis rubber to choose from on the interwebs. Thanks, checked chainreaction again this morning, just a wee bit strapped for cash for the DHL delivery option, and not too sure how safe it will be to go with the normal SAPO delivery. My previous set of Maxxis tyres took nearly 4 months to reach me during the postal strike. Also, would like to support the local guys still bringing in 26" tyres as far as possible. but if all else fails, I will import myself again.

Odinson Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Thanks, will scope them out. Never used them before, but there is a first time for everything I'd reccomend them without reservation. I frequently order from bike-components.de, bike-discount.de and bike24.com (all of them German sites) and their service is fantastic.
CAAD4 Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Teocali's and Canaan's were popular Mongi for breaking. Nice repair job.

Odinson Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Otero, when you've got the time, I'd be really interested to see that 'Goose's suspension in action. A short little clip or GIF would be sweet.

CdT85 Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Now that I checked Myles' videos, just remembered another mod I did. The needle bearing in the link to the rear triangle was utter sh#t. So I had bushes machined from moly impregnated nylon. Made the bushes as wide as the whole link to spread the load.Unfortunately do not have photos of it, but I was inspired by this: http://www.fogma.co.uk/foggylog/archive/365.html Works like a charm, no squeeks, and feels super smooth. I use the same moly nylon on rollers that we manufacture, and I know from field test of having these running continuous loads of 300+ kg that the material will probably outlast myself and the frame
