I also potentially have an option of Carbon Rotars - will look epic but not sure on the pros / cons - I think they will be proper spendy too, will know more tomorrow. Are you going to use BogusOne for the frame paint?

Gucci Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 Popped into the Chris Willemse sale and picked up some fancy bar tape and the adaptor for my cassette to fit the wheels. all I'm missing now to finish is a BB and a seat!! Im annoyed at my self for missing a SLR seat I wanted, I was going to get it recovered but he wanted a little too much - I should have just paid it and got it, I live and learn. Im off to ride the belt drive to 12 Apostles

So here's a quick update: Frame turned out silver so they are redoing it All the parts from Europe are here thanks to my amazing mate Seat post - in the post Seat - don't have yetBB - haven't even looked at yet I'm off to collect all the new shiney stuff tonight so hoping it's all there and all fits together!!!

The wheels are as sexy as I hoped the bars are going to look epic, I was going to remove the logos from them, then gloss in satin to show the carbon but the stem clamp looks like metal so will make them all satin black to match the fork. The chain ring is VERY oval, I think I will love or hate this very quickly The disks are tiny but lovely The lever hoods are massive (which I like) The xx1 rear cluster is a work of art and stupid light I have two red sram red thingies that I have no idea about (I think they are setting up cabling) I have nice black titanium rotar bolts I raided my first build to borrow the seat and post until my post arrives and I find a seat. The chain set is nice but will look better with out the spider and 50t ring I found a lovely seat post collar out of titanium that I have from the last build that didn't fit so hoping it fits the frame I collect the frame tomorrow after they respray in the correct Colour Nils (Woodstock cycles) has some tyres for me - I will collect these tomorrow. I have the hollow pin xx1 chain, I was hoping it was the hollow link too as this looks great but it's not Apart from a BB I think I now have a bike!!!!!! I'm away again from Thursday until Sunday so I think it will all come together next week, I'm just finalizing who will put her together!! I'm hating Photobucket now so need to find a better way to upload pictures. I will take some of all the bits in the morning.

Most guys on different forums ended up ordering the thru-axle from miracle bike or included it with the original purchase. Hope you come right
Gucci Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 It turns out I'm an idiot (ok well most of us knew that anyway) I was hunting for a 135mm x 9mm but the 9mm is the pitch of the thread so I'm off to Chris Willemse in the morning to collect a 135mm x 15 which Kevin (ex BMC) will machine a cap for!! Then to take it all to Justin at the Gear Change to build it!!
